Lebanese designer Elie Saab sent dresses down the runway in gorgeous blacks, greys, plums, reds and browns on March 9th at Paris Fashion Week. Amongst the gorgeous gowns and couture-style cocktail dresses, Saab included a black workwear-inspired jumpsuit.
The garment’s tapered trousers and wrap neck give it a mature and sophisticated yet at the same time unique and funky look. The asymmetrical sleeves, paired with the wrap neck, create a draped effect that works surprisingly well with the stiff fall of the suit-like material.
Gowns in the collection featured high slits, full, flowing skirts, sheer and sequinned materials and figure-hugging silhouettes, brought in at the waist with belts. Click here to view more designs from the Elie Saab F/W 2011 RTW collection.
