One of my favourite designers in the region, Wafa Saifi combines class and elegance with an ethereal Eastern flair. Her skirts, tops and dresses are all gorgeously made, combining colours, textures and fabrics with innovative expertise, but my favourite pieces are her kaftans! Jumpsuit of the Day: Wafa Saifi A/W 2011
Wafa Saifi is a Dubai/Mumbai-based fashion designer. She graduated from Parson’s School of Design, and launched her first collection at Dubai Fashion Week in 2009. She’s also participated in Miami Fashion Week, and her name rings fashion bells internationally! She also happens to be one of the first regional designers I familiarized myself with in Dubai.
