Wafa Saifi is a Dubai/Mumbai-based fashion designer. She graduated from Parson’s School of Design, and launched her first collection at Dubai Fashion Week in 2009. She’s also participated in Miami Fashion Week, and her name rings fashion bells internationally! She also happens to be one of the first regional designers I familiarized myself with in Dubai.

Wafa’s Plié Poise Collection is sensual, feminine, youthful and elegant. Her Autumn/Winter 2011 garments feature beautiful draping,  skirts with volume, intricately cut-out backs and lush shades of green, along with black sparkling embellishments and chiffon accents. This jumpsuit is available in  light pastel green colour with a darker olive-green belt. The piece combines a one-shoulder top draped delicately over a glimmer of gold, with pants that fall gracefully and effortlessly. The jumpsuit is glamorous and formal, but still looks comfortable and easy to wear!
