Last week, actress Rooney Mara (star of “The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo”) stepped out on the red carpet of the film’s premiere in Stockholm dressed in a jumpsuit from Roksanda Ilincic’s Resort 2012 collection.

Apparently a fan of black and cut-outs, Mara pulled off the ensemble with dramatic elegance. But although the design is dark and edgy, the fabric choice is baffling. Perhaps it should have been produced in a silkier or softer fabric, so as to avoid the much-too-evident creases splattered across Mara’s thighs. Also, a chunky cuff or cocktail ring would have brought some life into her otherwise stiff and character-less outfit.
