Jean Paul Gaultier showed his Fall/Winter 2011 collection last Saturday at Paris Fashion Week. Models were styled to look like couture cougars– a classy spin-off of the sexy librarian. The collection itself had an aged yet modern feel to it– lots of black leather fabrics and neutral shades of greys and browns.
This piece appeared on the runway in silver and gold brocade, on black. The skin-tight jumpsuit looks chic and high-end rather than skimpy or trashy. The high neck makes the garment look sophisticated, and the stirrup bottoms of the pants give the outfit youthful appeal. The silver and black brocade jumpsuit is accesorized with shiny black oxfords, a clutch and leather jacket, making it a perfect outfit for a fashionista’s night out on the town.
