Currently Craving: Bing Bang Evil Eye Fob Necklace

I’ve always had somewhat of an obsession for “evil eye”- embellished accessories. In the East especially, the blue “evil eye” charm has become a popular image icon, and is often found on delicate bracelets, necklaces and rings. Never before had … Continue reading

Currently Craving: Dior 001 Beauty Gun

Part of a series titled “7 Necessities for a Woman to Feel Like a Woman Through the Eyes of a Man,” jewelry designer Ted Noten of Atelier Ted Noten has designed the Dior 001- the ultimate spy-inspired product for modern women. The design is based off of the vintage spy concept, where weapons were hidden in cosmetic bags. In this iconic twist however, the makeup (and other fierce feminine necessities) are hidden in the weapon!

The classy white pistol contains a place to keep your Dior lipgloss…

a container for your pills and vitamins…

an antique hairpin…

a hidden USB for the tech-savy…

and, a bar of sterling silver?

Perhaps if the silver bar were made of chocolate, the Dior 001 Gun would be more of use to me. Nevertheless, it would make the ultimate high-fashion gag gift!

The Chanel 001 Gun is also part of Ted Noten’s collection:

The exclusive pieces were exhibited at the Ornamentum Gallery, part of last week’s Design Miami/Basel.

Currently Craving: T-Shirt by √FML²

I’ve had my eye on Qatar-based T-Shirt brand √FML² for a while now, but it seems that every time I fall in love with one of their designs, they sell out! The funky and innovative brand produces casual T-shirts displaying  graphics of fashion icons such as Karl Lagerfeld, as well as staple high fashion pieces such as the classic Chanel bag and red-soled Christian Louboutins. Here’s one my favourite designs:

Founded by two students attending the Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar, the brand has been taking orders online via But the good news is, the T-shirts will now be available to shoppers living in Dubai! This morning, s*uce boutique confirmed that the shipment has arrived, and is set to be selling in stores by this weekend!
